Based on RTE, there will be no admission test for classes II to VIII. Admission to these classes will be based on random selection for the session 2019-20.

Applicants will be considered eligible if they have completed the previous year’s examination.

For class IX, a written test will be administrated with objective type of questions in English, Mathematics, Science and Social Science. The Test format is given below:

Written test for admission to class IX is also compulsory for inclusive students.

The admission test of class IX is based on the syllabus of VIII standard as prescribed in CBSE (NCERT) textbooks with 100 objective type questions of four multiple choices.

25 questions each in subjects of English, Mathematics, Science and Social Science will be administered to the students. The test will be for a time duration of two hours. The students will be eligible to be ranked in the selected list if he/she gets 33% in each subject and for inclusive students – 25%

Only English medium students for class IX will be considered for entrance exam as there is no support for teaching in Kannada medium.

There will be no admission test for wards of NCERT employees.

Selection list including waiting list if any, will be displayed on the notice board.

Self-attested copies of the progress card (photocopy) of the previous class studied and category certificate if any should be submitted along with the filled application form.

Students from CBSE affiliated School only are eligible for admission to class IX.

While providing interim admission to various classes the position of the reservation is looked into admission and done accordingly.
