HIGHER SECONDARY (CLASS XI)

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Applications should be filled neatly in Black/Blue ink.

  • Downloaded Computerized marks of 10th class from CBSE website should be duly attested by the Principal of his/her school or attested copies of marks/grade report of the qualifying examination

  • Caste/PWD Certificate should be attested along with the Application form failing which application form will not be considered for the respective Quota.

  • Candidates should affix his/her latest passport size photograph in the space provided in the application form.

  • All the entries should be filled properly and appropriately as per requirement.

  • Candidate’s and Parent’s signature on the declaration is compulsory, failing which the application form will be rejected.

  • Our school is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi. Medium of instruction in our institution is English and Merit will be the criteria for admission as per marks/grades obtained in the qualifying examination

  • Candidates should select any combination as per his/her choice and write at the appropriate place given in the application form.

  • Candidates aspiring for admissions to XI class in DM School should write only marks of five subjects in the column which is given in the application form.

  • Date of birth shall be filled in numbers as well as in words in application form as:

Preference / priority in admission:

  • The students of DMS will be given first preference for admission provided if they fulfil Minimum eligibility criteria.

  • The remaining seats, if any, will be filled by the students from other schools on basis of merit

  • Only transfer cases of Defense personnel, Central government/PSU/state government employees etc., wards affiliated to CBSE Board, will be considered in the middle of the academic session provided if a vacancy exists.

  • In case of vacancy after the admission of XI, fresh applications can be procured by advertising in the school itself.

  • Admission to XI will be opened till 1st August(in case vacancy exists)

Change of group/subject: Any student if he/she want to change the group / subject, his or her case will be considered before the first test. After the first test no request for change in the group/subject will be entertained.

Documents needed to be produced at the time of admission for verification.

  1. Passport size two photos

  2. Original caste certificate (SC/ST) for claiming quota

  3. Original Marks / Report card of Previous class

  4. Original Transfer Certificate

  5. Address proof(Voters Identification Card , Gas Bill , BSNL Telephone Bill , Passport, Aadhaar Card or any other certificate issued by the government authority for residential proof)

  • Classes will commence for XI standard from 1st June or after completion of admission.

  • Subject codes for selecting combination in the application form: P-PHYSICS, C-CHEMISTRY, M-MATHEMATICS, CS-COMPUTER SCIENCE, B-BIOLOGY, H-HISTORY, G-GEOGRAPHY, E-ECONOMICS, and A-ACCOUNTANCY.

  • Any change in the admission date schedule will be notified in the school notice board appropriately.

Candidates should have above 60% in Science and Mathematics and over all minimum 60% and above

Minimum 65% in Science and Mathematics and 65% over all percentage

Group B:

Combination 1:

English, Economics, Language(Hindi/Kannada), History/Accountancy, Geography

Pass in X Examination held by CBSE to opt English, History, Geography, Economics and Language 40%(preferable)

Pass in a board other than CBSE 45%(preferable)

Combination 2:

English, Economics, Computer- science, Accountancy and Mathematics

Minimum 50% overall and 60% in Mathematics

Minimum 60% overall and 65% in Mathematics

Combination 3 :

English, Economics, Computer- science, Accountancy and language(Hindi/Kannada)

Minimum 45% overall and 50% in Mathematics

Minimum 60% overall and 60% in Mathematics

Relaxation: candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD will be given relaxation of one grade or 5% below the normal eligibility criteria.
